Today is my 2nd favorite lord’s birthday, Tokugawa Ieyasu, and I had an advance celebration last Saturday at the Tenka Touitsu Koi no Ran Love Ballad x The Chara Collab Cafe.
It’s that time of year once more, when Voltage Inc decides to have a collab cafe to celebrate another year of the game’s service. As always, I was up for attending an event that I had some hope for in terms of the food being served to the attendees.
First up on my list to “date”: Tokugawa Ieyasu. Or, as the Japanese would say, he’s the top batter (トップバッター), aka the first in line to appear.
His collab dish this year happened to be strawberry daifuku paired with cold green tea, which was nearly perfect, as I had hoped that they had paired it with hot green tea.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed my time “dating” my second favorite.
